The CPM Division unifies Finance & Planning Spend Management Operational Risk and Resilience and CPM Engineering teams to deliver business planning and analytics expense management third-party risk management and governance strategies across the firm. Within Spend Management the Source to Pay function encompasses Strategic Sourcing Procure to Pay Integrated Travel and Expense Infrastructure and Transformation and Sustainable Operations managing all aspects of the firms spend with third parties advising on commercial agreements and driving operating efficiency.

SOURCE TO PAY INVOICING & PAYMENTS PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

Within CPM the Source to Pay function oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement and payables from sourcing and vendor management through purchasing invoicing and payment. Professionals in CPM have an analytical mindset exhibit intellectual curiosity and come from diverse academic backgrounds. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in product management and a growing understanding of business processes and applications that support invoicing and payment functions including familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP (e.g. SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable SAP Ariba) or comparable ERP and accounts payable solutions.

You are analytically minded collaborative and eager to deepen your expertise. The role requires collaboration with different functions across the firm on a regular basis an ability to work independently and the ability to interact with senior professionals across the firm. You will work closely with engineering operations finance procurement and senior leadership to help define and execute a product vision for invoicing and payments that leverages AI tools intelligent automation and modern engineering practices to drive measurable impact across the firm.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

1. Invoicing & Payments Product Support:Support the product lifecycle for invoicing and payment platform products contributing to discovery requirements definition delivery and ongoing optimization under the guidance of senior product leaders.
2. Requirements Definition & Documentation:Define functional and non-functional requirements for new invoicing and payments features and work with Engineering and Strategic Delivery Partners to ensure that the delivery of these requirements aligns with business objectives. Create detailed documentation including business process flows user stories and use cases.
3. AI & Automation Contribution:Help champion the use of AI tools machine learning and intelligent automation to streamline invoice processing payment execution reconciliation and exception handling. Partner with engineering teams building and deploying AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent document processing and anomaly detection in payments.
4. Business Process Expertise:Develop and apply subject matter expertise in invoicing and payment workflows including invoice receipt and validation three-way matching approval routing payment scheduling and payment execution translating these into clear product requirements and user stories.
5. Stakeholder Facilitation & Alignment:Facilitate workshops meetings and demonstrations to align stakeholders and gather feedback. Act as a liaison between business users and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of invoicing and payment solutions.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance:Lead the creation of detailed test plans test cases and test scripts based on business requirements. Coordinate and oversee end-to-end system testing including UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Identify track and manage defects using test management tools and deliver test status reports dashboards and recommendations to project stakeholders. Support post-go-live validations and ensure defect-free production rollouts.
7. Platform & Vendor Ecosystem Support:Assist in managing the vendor and platform ecosystem strategy for invoicing and payments including evaluation integration and optimization of enterprise applications (e.g. ERP accounts payable modules payment platforms). Support assessments of existing capabilities and contribute to transitions to improved solutions where appropriate.
8. Collaborative Influence-Based Teamwork:Work effectively within cross-functional teams building relationships fostering inclusive collaboration and ensuring diverse perspectives inform product decisions. Help drive alignment across engineering operations procurement finance and senior leadership.
9. Value-Driven Prioritization:Contribute to defining and maintaining a product backlog and roadmap that is prioritized by business value ensuring the team delivers the right capabilities at the right time. Balance near-term operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
10. Gap & Pain Point Analysis:Identify friction points inefficiencies and risks within current invoicing and payment processes and systems. Translate these into actionable technical requirements and product enhancements. Prioritize flexibility and a how can we make this work approach to the most difficult problems to solve.
11. Cross-Functional Alignment:Collaborate with other Product Managers and stakeholders across CPM and the broader firm to ensure invoicing and payment solutions integrate seamlessly into the firms operational ecosystem and deliver a consistent low-friction experience.
12. Metrics & Performance Management:Help define track and report on key performance indicators to measure product success user adoption process efficiency and business impact within the invoicing and payments domain. Communicate progress and relevant updates to project drivers and relevant functions.
13. Industry & Innovation Research:Monitor industry trends emerging technologies (particularly in AI/ML and automation as applied to accounts payable and payments) and competitive landscapes to inform and strengthen the product roadmap. Constantly grow your knowledge and experience staying close to industry trends and emerging technologies.
14. Agile Delivery:Actively participate in the agile development process writing user stories and acceptance criteria grooming backlogs with developers and designers and helping ensure high-quality timely delivery of features and functionality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of3 yearsof Product Management or related experience (e.g. business analysis product ownership process improvement) with exposure to enterprise business process applications accounts payable invoicing payments or related operational domains.
2. Demonstrated experience working within or alongside technical ecosystems including enterprise platforms vendor integrations and data orchestration layers.
3. Hands-on experience with or strong interest in AI tools and automation both as a practitioner leveraging AI to enhance productivity and decision-making and in partnership with engineering teams developing AI-powered solutions.
4. Knowledge of Agile change management and platforms like JIRA and Confluence or similar tools.
5. Strong understanding of invoicing and payment business processes
6. Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize and present information at a management level.
7. Clear and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Experience working in a global organization preferred.
8. Experience creating detailed test plans coordinating UAT and managing defect tracking through to resolution.
9. Ability to work in a team-based environment and to interface with employees at all levels.
10. Impeccable attention to detail ability to organize own time and work independently.

13. Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree required with an excellent academic record.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 13 years of experience in Financial Services or a similarly regulated industry.
2. Experience with SAP products (e.g. SAP Ariba SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable) or comparable enterprise procurement/ERP platforms (Coupa Oracle Procurement Cloud Jaggaer).
3. Masters degree or MBA preferred.
4. Experience contributing to a product roadmap and communicating priorities to senior stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with enterprise spend management vendor risk management or supply chain operations.
6. Experience applying or supporting AI/ML models for business process optimization (e.g. intelligent document processing predictive analytics anomaly detection in payments).
7. Experience with change management and driving user adoption of new enterprise tools and processes.
8. Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. MS Excel advanced MS PowerPoint Hyperion/Essbase Smart View).
