Our client is seeking a skilled and technically proficient ATM Field Engineer to join their Cash Management Solutions Division.
Salary and Benefits:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and commission ATMs and Cash Deposit Machines at client sites in accordance with project specifications and agreed timelines.
- Deploy test and maintain ATM software and digital banking applications ensuring all systems are fully operational upon handover.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all deployed ATMs and CDMs to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults on ATMs and related cash management equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate service records maintenance logs and fault reports for all machines under management.
- Liaise with the Project Manager clients and third-party vendors to coordinate installations upgrades and fault resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with security protocols cash handling procedures and OEM standards during all servicing activities.
- Support the after-sales team by providing on-site technical assistance and client staff training where required.
- Monitor and report recurring technical issues and escalate appropriately to drive continuous service improvement.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable knowledge of ATM hardware platforms (e.g. NCR Diebold Nixdorf Nautilus Hyosung) and associated software.
- Proficiency in ATM software deployment configuration and fault troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of cash management systems EFT infrastructure and network connectivity.
- Background in both hardware maintenance and software support is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field manage multiple concurrent site assignments and meet strict service level agreements (SLAs).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to technical fault diagnosis.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Electronics Computer Science Information
- Technology or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ATM installation maintenance or field engineering within a banking or fintech environment.
- Valid clean Class 4 drivers licence - travel to client sites across Zimbabwe is required.
- Fluent in English in both oral and written communication.
