The Role:
This is more than a hands-on plumbing position. We are seeking a leader who can manage a crew take full ownership of projects from rough-in through final inspection and serve as a trusted point of contact for general contractors.

You will work alongside skilled apprentices and journeymen set the standard for quality and professionalism on every job site and play a key role in the companys continued growth and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small crew of journeymen and apprentices across residential and commercial job sites
- Oversee job progress material planning and scheduling in coordination with leadership
- Act as the primary point of contact for general contractors and inspectors
- Perform and manage all phases of plumbing work including rough-in top-out trim and service
- Mentor and develop apprentices supporting their growth and on-site learning
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes quality standards and client expectations
- Maintain clear proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications Required:
- Active Master Plumber license (Michigan)
- Proven experience leading plumbing crews on commercial or mixed residential/commercial projectsN
- New construction/renovation plumbing experience (especially commercial but ideally also residential) and leadership experience
- Strong project management mindset with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate challenges
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers contractors and team members
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Experience mentoring or training apprentices
- Familiarity with commercial ground-up construction and billing processes (e.g. AIA lien waivers)
- Ability to maintain team morale while upholding high performance standards
- Proficiency in reading commercial blueprints and coordinating with other trades
