Position Overview:
We are seeking a IT Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations and ensure the stability security and efficiency of our technology environment. This role will provide hands-on technical support assist with system maintenance and help manage hardware software and network resources during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end users (hardware software and network issues)
- Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers and mobile devices
- Manage user accounts permissions and access in accordance with company policies
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Assist with network administration including basic configuration and connectivity troubleshooting
- Support software deployments updates and patch management
- Maintain IT documentation asset inventory and support logs
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and assist with basic cybersecurity measures
- Collaborate with internal teams or external vendors as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support or systems administration role
- Strong knowledge of Windows macOS Linux environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Active Directory and common business applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and communicate solutions clearly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network) are a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure AWS)
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell Bash)
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced collaborative environment
- May require occasional after-hours support depending on business needs
