GENERAL DUTIES:
Perform a variety of tasks involving the overall care of the buildings and grounds. Direct coordinate and participate in the cleaning repairing and maintenance of District buildings District grounds and heating/cooling plants. Lead summer work projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications including but not limited to email and systems applications
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- The ability to work from heights of up to 30 feet
- Thorough understanding of custodial equipment
- Thorough knowledge of custodial work including the use of cleaning methods and materials
- General construction or maintenance experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- One year of experience in work relating to the care and maintenance of buildings and grounds
