The role
We help people with disability become more independent in their own homes and the community.
- Active support: develop personal interests provide personal care transportation and coach independent living skills
- Health support:administer and document medication and follow health support plans
- Positive behaviour support:managebehaviour triggers and escalation
- Safeguarding:ensure safety of you and the participant documentation and reports
About you
- Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability
- C4 in Disability or related field
- Experience with complex care
- Demonstrated knowledge in restrictive practices
- Medication training preferred
- Epilepsy training
- Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights
- NDIS Worker Check
- National Police Check
- Drivers license
- First aid and CPR certificate
