Agricultural Employers Association commonly known as AEA was started in 1962 and registered in 1966 as an Association representing the collective interests of Employers in the Agricultural industry in matters related with Employment of Labour. The AEA is an affiliate member of FKE KEPSA KAM and ASNET.

Our clients seek to fill the below positions which have arisen in their company;

RESEARCH COORDINATOR AGRONOMY

This role will be reporting directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of plant growth crop management and agronomic practices
  
• Practical abilities; hands-on
  
• Strong in data collection documentation and basic data analysis
  
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic digital documentation tools
  
• Ability to organize and maintain clear trial records
  

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Fresh from the University or with little field experience
  
• Bachelors degree or diploma in Agronomy Crop Science Horticulture Agriculture or a related field
  
• Additional training or experience in agricultural research or field trials is an advantage
  
• Practical experience in crop production agricultural trials or research activities through internship or first working experience
  
• First experience on commercial farms or agricultural research stations is desirable

• Between 25 and 35 years of age

• Highly structured and detail-oriented working style
  
• Strong Observation and analytical skills
  
• High level of accuracy and reliability in documentation
  
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for multiple trials
  
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with field teams
  
• Practical mindset and willingness to spend significant time working in the field
  
• Hardworking Team player & supportive character
  
• Good skills in English (written and spoken)
  
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment
