Junior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Rockville MD. As a Junior Civil Engineer you will assist in the planning design and execution of various civil engineering projects contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure.

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings plans and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements
• Perform engineering calculations and analyze data to support project designs
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various aspects of civil structural or related engineering projects
• Assist in the preparation of project reports cost estimates and technical documentation
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures
• Stay updated on local building codes regulations and industry best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution
• 04 years of experience in civil engineering projects
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and GIS software along with experience in Revit is preferred
• Experience with ENERCALC and STAAD - Pro is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Basic understanding of local building codes and regulations
• Familiarity with construction materials methods and environmental regulations

Additional Information :

Proposed Salary: $65000-$85000 annual commensurate with qualifications and experience.
