Landscaper

Responsible for performing landscaping and grounds maintenance including but not limited to mowing pruning planting edging cutting and chemical applications.

Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance as prescribed or assigned.
Install repair and perform periodic maintenance to sprinkler and irrigation systems.
Safely and effectively operate lawn mower weed trimmer edger chainsaw power trimmer and other equipment used in lawn and ground maintenance.
Safely and properly apply chemicals including but not limited to fertilizers herbicides and pesticides.
Plant grass trees flowers and shrubs using gardening tools.

Qualifications :

Prior experience in a similar position preferred. 
Must be able to walk stand lift carry bend kneel crouch and reach throughout shift. 
Must be able to safely and effectively operate lawn mowers weed trimmers edgers chainsaws power trimmers and other equipment chemicals and supplies used in lawn and grounds maintenance.
Must be able to perform duties in direct exposure to the weather which may include periods of extreme heat cold or inclement weather.
Must have excellent communication skills. 
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
