Solution Architect

Job Description

Working within the Health business you will be responsible for defining the policies and standards that guide technology delivery possessing significant experience in modern cloud based technology standards and practices.

As Solution Architect you are accountable for providing architectural design and technology roadmaps for complex Health applications supporting high volume mission critical products and services.

Youll work hand in hand with our Product Managers Delivery and Technical Leads in order to influence and define a technology roadmap to meet both our commercial and technology aims.

Core aim of this role is to provide technical assurance to ensure successful deployment of NEC SWS Public Safety products into a given client whilst also protecting our commercial position.

To be successful in the role we need someone who can mediate between people and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences particularly someone who is confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Someone who understands the evolutionary nature of technology delivery in an agile environment. As you may imagine our stakeholder expectations are high and well need you to facilitate discussions about high risk and complexity even within constrained timescales.

The Solution Architect will work with the project or programme manager and the wider architecture team to:

• ensure that scope of supply is correctly documented and maintained
• technical project risks are identified and managed
• ensure that any non-functional requirements from a customer are agreed and documented
• ensure Impact assessments are practical have well defined scope and implementation and use existing products and technologies wherever possible
• Deliver/Manage High Level Designs for solutions.
• Deliver documentation including diagrams dataflows and solution working detail
• identify opportunities for selling additional product capability.

Candidates will have awareness of the following items:

• C

• SQL Server
• Windows platforms
• Domains / AD
• Authentication & Authorisation methods inc. OAuth
• Development Patterns 

Candidates will have good practical knowledge of some or all of the following items:

• Data & Database Management
• Messaging/Message Brokers/Buses including RabbitMQ
• Common API frameworks including REST SOAP
• Well-Architected Frameworks
• Technology evolutions & roadmaps
• Cloud Solutions AWS/Azure/OCI
• Networking & communication of solutions & components
• Security aspects of solutions integrations & connectivity

Candidates will have In Depth knowledge of some or all of the following items:

Architectural Patterns and their uses

Integration Patterns

Additional Information :

• Has worked with UK clients and team (Preferred)
• Has working experience of the onshore offshore model
• Has experience of commercial awareness in aspects such as revenue recognition and margin management
