Asset Performance Senior Analyst
Job Summary
Accenture makes significant investments each year in software that are developed and acquired through strategic investments. To maximize the value of these investments we built a team to provide consistent decision-ready reporting on product performance and profitability across the software portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to help shape an end-to-end reporting and insights solution used by senior leadership to make informed decisions on investment prioritization and go-to-market strategy. You will partner with product and investment stakeholders globally to understand each software assets commercial model cost base and performance drivers translating that into clear comparable insights.
Over time the team is also working to standardize methodologies and improve automation using analytics and modern data tools improving data quality reducing manual effort and enabling faster more confident decision-making. You will work closely with partners across Growth & Strategy Finance and Operations while collaborating with the Intellectual Property team to align reporting with portfolio governance.
You will be part of the Performance and Advisory Team a multi-disciplinary group that supports financial excellence through analytics reporting and data visualization across Accenture.

Responsibilities:
The Assets Performance Senior Analyst supports profitability and performance reporting for a subset of software investments. You will partner with global product/investment teams to understand each assets operating model (revenue costs pricing adoption and investment case) and produce impartial comparable insights on progress and value realization across the investment lifecycle.
- Partner with product and investment stakeholders to understand software assets (organic and acquired) their commercial models and key profitability drivers.
- Ensure data reliability by validating inputs improving definitions and strengthening the quality of the data used for reporting and analysis.
- Analyse financial and operational metrics to explain performance identify trends variances and outliers. Reconcile changes and improve consistency and accuracy over time.
- Maintain and continuously improve reporting methodologies job aids and data sources. Act as the process owner and support stakeholders in meeting reporting requirements.
- Produce concise visually clear portfolio summaries and profitability insights (e.g. dashboards scorecards and narratives) that enable senior leaders to make timely decisions.
- Recommend improvements to embed standard profitability reporting and value-realization measures across the software investment portfolio including opportunities for automation and self-service analytics.
You will likely have 2 years experience in finance analytics performance reporting strategy innovation or business operations with relevant third-level qualifications.
- Strong financial and analytical mindset; comfortable with profitability concepts and performance metrics (e.g. revenue cost margin variance analysis).
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI (or similar) SharePoint and basic data querying (SQL) is desirable. Interest in modern analytics including Generative and Agentic AI is a plus.
- Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and control.
- Excellent written and spoken English; able to translate complex analysis into clear executive-ready messages.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in a large matrixed organisation with diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in technology and curiosity to learn how software products are built monetized and scaled.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and stakeholder inputs simultaneously.
- Curious inquisitive and analytically minded; keen to understand the why behind the numbers.
- Positive adaptable and comfortable working with evolving processes as the capability matures.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Accenture Offerings & Assets IP portfolio governance and/or Legal protection of IP is advantageous.
- Experience with data management data models or analytics engineering
