The Opportunity
We believe that behind every great product feature is an incredible story told by data. As a Product Data Analyst II within our Product Data Group you wont just be pulling numbersyoull be the critical bridge between Product Management Engineering and our Data Group. By diving deep into product telemetry and logs youll help us decode user behavior and directly shape the future of our products.
What Youll Do
- Design for Impact:Collaborate closely with Product Engineering to design data instrumentation that captures genuine user behavior events and meaningful outcomes.
- Translate & Transform:Act as the ultimate translatorturning high-level business questions and new feature requests into crisp technical data requirements.
- Uncover Insights:Analyze rich product datasets to guide the development of pipelines and new features working hand-in-hand with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.
- Define Success:Help define and track the core metrics and KPIs that truly reflect product health and performance.
- Guard Data Quality:Conduct rigorous data quality analyses to spot gaps before they become issues and contribute to the design of robust monitoring and alerting systems.
What Youll Bring to the Table
- Solid Experience:2-4 years shaping data into insights with a focus on statistical analysis dashboarding and data quality/profiling.
- Technical Chops:Strong proficiency in SQLyou know how to navigate query and tame large complex datasets.
- Data Storytelling:Strong ability to shape narratives using data providing visualization and reports that illuminate the import of the data
- Domain Knowledge:Familiarity with product telemetry and observability (knowing how products talk to us).
- Collaboration:Stellar communication skills. You know how to tell a compelling story with data and collaborate effortlessly across varied teams.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Experience navigating a software development organization including familiarity with version control (git) the SDLC and testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools like dbt Databricks and Tableau.
