About the role

The Senior Project Manager Capital Projects WSS ANZ leads major capital projects for mining and infrastructure providing technical expertise driving high project management standards and delivering data-driven plans and risk-based solutions.

Partners with cross-functional global teams to resolve issues guide project staff and advance continuous improvement.

Responsibility

• Leads complex high value capital projects within the mining and water infrastructure sectors
• Develops project plans and timelines for complex mining and water infrastructure projects
• Monitors project progress and adjust plans as required ensuring projects stay within budget and meet contractual deadlines
• Coordinates with engineering operations commercial and site-based teams to support effective project delivery
• Builds strong relationships with customers internal teams and senior leaders and contributes to shaping the future direction of the solutions business
• Develops and implements quality control measures tailored to mining and water infrastructure projects

Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Business or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience of capital projects in mining water infrastructure or heavy industrial environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership capability and proven ability to lead cross functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strategic vision and foresight.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly
