Job Summary
IT Technician Innovative Secondary School Salford (Greater Manchester)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full-time Permanent
Salary: Paid to scale
We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an innovative secondary school in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to support the effective use of technology across teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will maintain IT systems troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to staff and students. You will also contribute to the development of digital learning strategies and ensure systems are secure and up to date.
This role requires strong technical knowledge problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills.

Provide technical support across the school
Maintain hardware software and network systems
Support classroom technology
Manage user accounts and permissions
Assist with IT projects and upgrades
Ensure system security and compliance
Requirements:
IT qualification or relevant experience
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills
Problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and in a team
