We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join a high-impact DevOps team supporting the groups global Retail Sales Services.

This product is the engine behind how dealers agents and National Sales Companies (NSCs) perform vehicle sales worldwide.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the critical logic used to configure cars manage contracts create sales documents and execute stock searches across all group brands.

Retail Systems Specialist: Build and optimize the back-end architecture for global vehicle sales from car configuration to contract management.

Technical Leadership: 10 years of deep development experience providing technical guidance to project leaders and fellow colleagues.

Global Impact: Develop scalable solutions that are used in intenational markets ensuring high performance during production support and hyper-care phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years of professional development experience.
• Proven track record in back-end engineering within a DevOps framework.
• Essential: Willingness to travel internationally for project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis
• Development and maintenance on platform/application
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality maintainability and adherence to best practices.
• Testing and defect resolution
• Involvement and support in Deployment process
• Provide third-level support for production incidents when required
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
• Review and present proposed system solution to IT Product Owner / Leader / System owner
• Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives) to contribute to team dynamics and project progress.
• Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required
• System implementation / deployment & release activities
• Production support & hyper-care after production deployments
• Willing and able to travel internationally if required
