Spinning Process Technician

Starting Pay: $24/hour Direct Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform product set-ups changeovers and color/product changes on BCF spinning equipment.
• Monitor run-ability and complete online yarn quality inspections (texture air tack winding detex).
• Perform routine process checks (ex: tension monomer quench vacuum texturizer cooling drum) and document results.
• Maintain required logs (cleaning pack changes process checks) and report discrepancies promptly.
• Troubleshoot issues perform minor mechanical repairs and support spin pack/pre-filter changes as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety rules; communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent preferred or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing/production or technician experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail dependable attendance and ability to follow safety and work instructions in English.
• Basic math skills; documentation and communication skills.
• Microsoft Office familiarity preferred.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time and frequently move throughout the production area to monitor equipment and inspect product.
• Must be able to operate and use machinery/tools and position self to access equipment for cleaning inspection and adjustments.
• Must be able to detect quality issues and exchange accurate information verbally and in writing.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment; may be exposed to noise dust/fibers vibration and varying temperatures.
• Work near others and share the same workspace; PPE may be required.

Schedule

• Full-time direct hire. Shift and overtime based on operational needs.
