Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Informatics Specialist to join our team on a consultancy basis. As a Nursing Informatics Specialist you will be responsible for analyzing designing implementing and evaluating information systems and technology solutions to improve the delivery of care and services to our elderly clients. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to identify and understand their information needs and requirements. - Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementing new technology solutions. - Design and implement information systems databases and software applications to support the delivery of care and services. - Train and educate staff on the use of new technology and systems and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new systems and technologies and make recommendations for further improvements. - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies in the field of nursing informatics. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing Informatics Healthcare Informatics or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing informatics or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems databases and software applications. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively. - Experience working with elderly clients and a passion for improving their quality of life through technology. Location: This position is based in Ocala Florida but can be performed remotely. Contract Details: This is a consultancy position with a flexible schedule and can be negotiated based on the candidates availability and experience.
