Job Summary

Position: Social Media Manager & Executive Assistant

Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Schedule: Fixed with EST overlap
Compensation: $7/hour

Role Overview

This role combines social media management with executive support. You will be responsible for maintaining brand presence across platforms while also assisting leadership with daily operations and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

  • Manage day-to-day posting scheduling and community engagement on Instagram Facebook TikTok and Pinterest
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals
  • Write clear engaging and brand-consistent captions and content
  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner
  • Work with designers or content creators to develop new assets (UGC lifestyle content product highlights testimonials)
  • Track performance metrics and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations
  • Stay updated on trends hashtags and emerging formats
  • Repurpose influencer and customer content when relevant
  • Support influencer gifting or affiliate programs (optional but preferred)

2. Executive Assistant Support

  • Assist the CEO and executive team with scheduling calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Track tasks priorities and follow-ups using tools like Google Workspace and Slack
  • Manage inboxes by flagging urgent messages and drafting responses
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Organize files and documentation using platforms such as Google Drive and Dropbox

Requirements

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail organization and follow-through
  • Proactive resourceful and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferably supporting executives or founders
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva Meta Business Suite Google Workspace Later (or similar schedulers) and Slack
  • Understanding of content performance and a creative eye for social media
  • Experience with influencer management or affiliate campaigns is a plus
