Job Title: A&R Coordinator Warner Records (12 Month FTC)

A little bit about our team:

Warner Records Label Group UK brings together the iconic powerhouses of Warner Records Parlophone FFRR and Regal Records under one creative roof. We are proud to be the driving force behind a roster of global superstars and groundbreaking new talent including Coldplay Dua Lipa PinkPantheress Muse Chase & Status Griff and Rachel Chinouriri. We are an ambitious close-knit team who are passionate about music developing talent and breaking artists.

Your role:

As a vital member of the A&R team you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the wide-ranging roster of artists. You will help to bridge the gap between A&R Business & Legal Affairs Marketing and Finance ensuring a seamless workflow from the first studio session through to final music delivery.

Here youll get to:

  • Reporting to the Senior A&R Coordination Manager you will help to coordinate the day to day recording activities for artists across our roster. This includes organising studios arranging artist/producer transport booking hotels organising equipment hire finding engineers and session musicians as requested.

  • You will be required to set up new vendors on our internal finance system (ARIBA) issue Purchase Orders to pay for recording costs and deal with enquiries relating to POs/invoicing alongside accounts payable/finance teams.

  • You will work with A&R and Artist Management to compile label copy credits and lyrics for delivery.

  • You will work closely with A&R Marketing and Creative Production to ensure audio label copy and lyrics are delivered on time and fully cleared prior to the release date.

  • You will be required to keep track of recording budgets for your assigned artist projects working with A&R and Finance to keep projects on budget and informing them of any variance.

  • You will keep all in-coming audio up to date on the internal file system (BOX) ensure files are verified/archived with our external archiving team and assist with the movement of music within and outside the company securely.

  • You will help to negotiate and administer third party producer mixer session musician and remixer deals to ensure we have all relevant clearances in place with Business Affairs ahead of release. This also includes the drafting of flat fee agreements where appropriate.

  • You will take notes in A&R roster and finance meetings and circulate amongst the team.

  • You will proactively take ownership of master studio database documents and other internal tracking documents.

About you:

  • Organised focused and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of production/mix/master process and the applicable deliverables.

  • Logical thinker

  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts

  • Trustworthy when dealing with sensitive pre-release music and content

  • Reliable committed and dedicated

Wed love it if you also had:

  • Previous A&R Coordination or Artist Management experience

  • Experience working across a varied artist roster

  • Knowledge of any of the following systems: Google Workspace Airtable Box Preamp or SAP ARIBA
