Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machines to achieve daily targets while maintaining product quality and safety standards. The role includes machine setup basic troubleshooting maintaining records and ensuring proper housekeeping. The operator works closely with Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Job Description:

• Clean machines and surrounding areas before production starts or during changeovers.
• Must wear PPEs as required.
• Operate and monitor machines according to SOPs.
• Perform machine setup adjustments and basic troubleshooting under guidance.
• Inspect products visually and dimensionally as per approved QC samples; coordinate with Quality for any deviations.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production machine performance and materials.
• If any product with issues placed on designated hold area.
• Report machine breakdowns process issues and quality concerns promptly.
• Inform the Maintenance Incharge about spare parts requirements when needed.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Ensure proper labeling of all cartons as per job details including date shift and operator signature.
• Perform line clearance after each job before starting a new one.
• Maintain 5S standards cleanliness and ensure materials are stored in designated areas.
  
  Qualification & Experience:
  
• Matriculation / Intermediate (Technical diploma preferred)
• 13 years production experience
• Knowledge of machine operations quality standards and SOPs
• Problem-solving teamwork and documentation skills
  

Training:

• Orientation on company policies safety rules and environmental guidelines.
• Training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to machine operation and production processes.
• quality inspection methods and defect identification.
• Training on Machine setup operation and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Training on documentation production reporting.
• Preventive maintenance awareness and coordination with the maintenance team.
