An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assistant to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Youll play a key role in ensuring food safety quality standards and compliance are maintained across a dedicated production site.There is genuine progression available in a business that cares deeply for the employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with food safety and customer standards
- Conduct gluten sampling of raw materials and finished products coordinating with external laboratories
- Identify non-conforming products and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate process control documentation and quality records
- Support internal audits HACCP processes and food safety systems
- Assist with allergen microbiological and product testing
- Investigate quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with retailer standards
About You
- Minimum 2 years experience in a food manufacturing quality role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP BRCGS and food safety systems
- Experience in internal auditing and quality reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive can-do attitude
- Food-related qualification (desirable)
