Known globally for the development of revolutionary technologies Abbott Diabetes Care designs develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes.
The site has been instrumental in the research development and manufacture of theFreeStyleLibre Continuous Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family includingFreeStyleLibre 2 FreeStyleLibre3 plus and Lingo products.
We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of peoples a result of strong business growth and industry-leading product development in the biosensor business we have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join ourDesignQuality Assurance team.

Serving as the primary representative for the Quality Assurance function on project teams you will support R&D/Technical Services Clinical Product Integrity and Sterilisation areas globally. You will provide Quality Assurance expertise and guidance to ensure the development design verification and validation of site products meet customer business and regulatory requirements. Day to day this varied role will see youworking withteamsinvolved inproduct development transfer andon-market improvement programmes through our Design Control process. Activities include:
Supportingtheperformanceassessmentofnew and currentproducts
Reviewing of clinical study documentation
Supporting the development and execution of Test Method Validations
Aidingthe development ofsterile barrierand packagingsystem advancements and their impact to biocompatibility
