Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to support cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EP lab equipment strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics and the ability to assist physicians during complex interventional procedures.
Schedule & Work Environment
Day shift: Monday Friday
8-hour shifts (7:00 AM 3:00 PM)
Acute care hospital setting
No weekend requirement
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
Operate and maintain EP lab equipment and monitoring systems
Monitor and record hemodynamic data during procedures
Prepare patients and procedure rooms in accordance with sterile protocols
Support device implantation procedures (pacemakers ICDs ablations etc.)
Ensure proper functioning and troubleshooting of EP equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with procedure reporting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy physiology and hemodynamics
Demonstrated experience working with EP lab devices and equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in high-volume EP labs
Familiarity with advanced cardiac mapping systems and ablation technologies
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
