Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: 44k
Shifts: Monday to Friday 8am 4.30pm
Overview
Opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site supporting plant reliability through fault finding PPM and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults
- Fault find across PLCs drives motors sensors and control systems
- Carry out mechanical repairs across hydraulics pneumatics conveyors bearings and gearboxes
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance across site equipment
- Support installation and commissioning of machinery
- Identify root causes and implement reliability improvements
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow HSE and LOTO procedures
About You
- Time served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Multi-skilled capability with strong fault finding across both disciplines
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
- 18th Edition desirable
- Proactive team-focused approach
