**Some weekends required**

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Assistant organizes and performs Business Office functions including but not limited to Explaining and getting all admission packets signed taking pictures of residents and uploading to Matrix Medicaid yearly reviews/verifications maintain and send out daily census coding and uploading vendor invoices coding and uploading all consolidated billing distributing trust money and obtaining signatures as requested scanning and uploading all billing documents update insurance info for residents who receive outside bills covering reception at lunch time.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Accounts payable and medical billing is a plus

-Skilled nursing experience

-Insurance knowledge
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Business Office Experience
- Strong Organizational Communication Skills Customer Service attitude
- Good computer skills Ability to learn new software

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  1. Business Administration or related field preferred.
  2. Experience in a billing or supervisory capacity in the business office of a hospital nursing home or other related health care facility preferred
  3. Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations procedures laws regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care preferred
