Setting: Outpatient (Ortho/Neuro/Geriatric)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality care to patients across orthopedic neurological and geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and exercises
- Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising PT
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment

- Orthopedic

- Geriatric
Workload
- Approximately 1112 patients per day (scheduled)
Requirements
- Active PTA license (California required)
- Previous outpatient experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
