Job Summary
Job Title: Nurse Supervisor
Location: Brooklyn NY 11206
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Supervisor to oversee clinical operations and support high-quality patient care. This role involves leadership performance monitoring and collaboration with nursing staff to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan develop and implement programs to enhance patient care and staff performance
- Monitor and evaluate patient care delivery across units
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers to assess unit performance and implement corrective actions when needed
- Establish and maintain record-keeping systems for tracking medication errors and staff counseling
- Ensure adherence to clinical policies procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support staff development training and performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (New York State)
- Primary Source Verification through NYSED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience
- At least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Nursing
