Job Summary
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Production Supervisortracksprogress of tasks for assigned artists or sequences in the production tracking system.
AssistsProduction Coordinator/Supervisor with department calendar andhandlesthe scheduling for the Department Head.Interactswith department leadership.
AssistsProductionCoordinator/Supervisor withmaintainingquotas deadlines & inventory ensuring departmental productivity goals are consistently met.
Understandsthe department andworkswiththe Supervisortomaintain and managethe department schedule.
Followsup with Artist Leadson a daily basisto ensure task deliveriesremainon schedule; communicatingany schedule changes toappropriate ArtistLeads Supervisors and Production team as needed.
Is responsible formultipledailysessions each day as well as client reviews.
Ensuresproper preparation for all meetings and reviews. Records and publishes notes from meetings and reviews that accurately reflect action items and an appropriate senseof urgency.
Is awareof work in progress in the department.
Entersandmaintainsproduction data in the studios production database to reflect scheduled in-progress and completed departmental work. Collaborateswith other coordinators and managers to keep all dataaccurateand current.
Schedulesmeetings at the request of the Manager and Lead(s).
Proactivelymaintainsthe calendar with alertness to topicsdeadlinesand conflicts.
Proactively respondsto requests for information andassistancefrom those within and outside of the department.
Is responsible forvarious daily office activities: schedules meetingsbooksrooms copies files types up notes and distributes accordingly and distributes and collects timecards for the department.
Communicates with other departmentsregardingdepartment needs.
Willsto take on new challengesin order tohave a more detailed knowledge of the department and pipeline.
Keeps up on current artistic methodologiesand ontechnology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
Assistsother teammemberswhen necessary.
Follows the Supervisors and Leads guidance.
Requirements
0-2 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
Desirable knowledge or experience in Animation 3D.
Degree in film art communications mediacommunicationsor relatedfield.
Professional working knowledge of Google Spreadsheets Microsoft OutlookExceland Word.
Experience with production tracking software is a plus (for example Shotgun).
MediumEnglish level.
Spanish desirable.
