Job Summary

Are you ready to make your mark in the construction industry Join Ledcors Building Construction team in Vancouver BC as a Design-Build Coordinator and be at the forefront of innovative construction projects. Youll support the design process from pursuit to execution helping ensure excellence every step of the way. Collaborate with top professionals including the Project Director Construction Manager and Pre-Construction Manager as you assist with design coordination schedules and compliance and contribute to the development of subcontract packages.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in all phases of project pursuit including RFQ RFP and project execution.
  • Assist with coordinating design development meetings with internal and external stakeholders throughout the RFP and execution phases.
  • Support the coordination of design development and technical aspects of a project as part of an RFP for a design-build project or other types of partnerships.
  • Coordinate activities with external design consultants including assisting with scope definition and contract administration.
  • Help identify design constraints assess alternatives and contribute to recommendations for cost-effective design solutions.
  • Assist in tracking design schedules and deliverables ensuring timely project progression.
  • Support the identification and tracking of opportunities and risks to positively impact schedule and financial targets.
  • Participate in bid analysis negotiations and contract awards with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in managing change control during design development and construction document phases.

Qualifications:

  • 15 years experience in design coordination or related roles from inception to project handover on various projects.
  • Post-secondary education in architecture/design and/or construction industries on large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with constructing various projects including complex architectural structures advanced systems and environmental considerations utilizing both Design-Build and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approaches.
  • Working knowledge of construction documents drawings specifications costs budgets and current construction practices and methodology.
  • Proficient with MS Office; understanding of building codes LEED and CSA standards.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support team decision-making.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements.

Work Conditions:

  • Office-based position
  • Some travel may be required to project sites and/or office locations.

Compensation

$73600- $101 200 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
