Factory Operations Analyst
Description -
Job Summary
This role is responsible for monitoring operations of lower-level roles driving broader business strategy and strategic implementations handling high-level business assignments and overseeing vendors with regional or global reach.
The role leads high-value projects contributes to defining business requirements identifies and influences broad-level change assures compliance and leverages subject matter knowledge to resolve supply chain issues.
Responsibilities
Delegates and monitors the operations performed by others in lower level roles by owning various business metrics or business functions; drives broader business strategy and develops strategic implementations.
Handles high-level business assignments such as analyzing costs related to business operations and examines issues such as inventory control and quality.
Holds responsibility for readiness availability and visibility of materials necessary to meet production schedules and overall supply/demand goals.
Provides complex vendor management support such as overseeing multiple products across multiple regional or global sites on behalf of different teams within the organization.
Identifies and influences change on a broad-level in undocumented areas for improvement such as driving efficiencies within operations.
Provides support in the troubleshooting of escalations related to damaged deliveries missing deliveries or quality issues on equipment requiring immediate replacement.
Assures compliance and error-free operations in order to facilitate improvement.
Leverages experience and subject matter knowledge to resolve issues related to production schedules and daily priorities.
Provides guidance and mentoring to other individual contributors in lower-level roles and contributes to their growth in the organization.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management Manufacturing Engineering or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of work experience preferably in procurement supply chain or a related field.
