Orientation: 12 hours (Non-billable)
Job Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced EEG Technologist to join a high-volume Diagnostic Neurology unit. The ideal candidate will perform neurodiagnostic testing including EEG studies while ensuring accurate data collection and delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and continuous EEG studies for inpatient and outpatient populations
Prepare patients for EEG procedures including electrode application and setup
Monitor and accurately record electrical brain activity
Identify and document abnormal waveforms and events
Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment
Ensure accurate patient documentation and reporting
Collaborate with neurologists and clinical teams
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Assist with long-term monitoring studies as needed
Ensure timely completion of EEG reports
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of EEG experience (inpatient required)
High School Diploma or GED required
Active REEGT certification required
BLS certification required
CLTM certification preferred
Strong knowledge of EEG equipment and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
