Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Manager: AI Platform Architecture to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI platforms that power next-generation digital and network capabilities. The role will be responsible for shaping scalable secure and high-performance AI ecosystems that enhance automation improve decision-making reduce operational costs and elevate customer experience in a rapidly evolving digital environment. Working across a complex enterprise landscape the incumbent will play a pivotal role in embedding AI into core operations while ensuring architectural excellence governance and regulatory compliance. This is a strategic role that bridges innovation and execution driving the organisations AI vision forward.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable AI platforms supporting use cases such as predictive maintenance fraud detection customer automation and network optimisation
• Architect and integrate AI systems within complex telecom infrastructure including 5G IoT and edge environments
• Lead the deployment of cloud-native AI solutions across private and public cloud ecosystems
• Ensure seamless integration of AI models into operational systems to enable automation and real-time decision-making
• Establish AI governance frameworks covering model versioning monitoring performance and lifecycle management
• Drive platform optimisation across performance security scalability and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with data science engineering network security and regulatory teams to ensure end-to-end alignment
• Implement robust security controls including encryption identity management and anomaly detection
• Identify and mitigate risks related to AI deployment in regulated telecom environments
• Continuously evaluate platform performance and drive improvements in latency stability and efficiency
• Provide strategic input to senior leadership on AI platform direction and innovation opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Technology or related field
• Relevant certifications in AI cloud or data engineering (advantageous)
• 8 years experience in AI platform architecture deployment and optimisation preferably in large-scale telecom environments
• Strong experience in enterprise-scale AI systems API management and MLOps practices
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Keras
• Strong cloud expertise across AWS Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of telecom networks including 5G IoT and edge computing
• Strong knowledge of AI security data privacy and encryption standards
