Job Title: Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech)
Location: Ithaca NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 5 8-hour shifts
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technician (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate imaging results
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper identification
- Operate radiologic equipment and maintain image quality standards
- Review images for clarity and diagnostic value
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Active Radiologic Technologist license (State-specific)
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
