Product Owner

Job Summary:The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog to align with strategic goals and customer needs. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact healthcare SaaS solutions that enhance user experience and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Backlog Management
   Define and maintain the product backlog with clear priorities
   Translate business strategy into actionable user stories
   Align backlog with customer value and compliance needs
2. Agile Execution & Iterative Development
   Drive agile ceremonies and sprint planning
   Collaborate with engineering and design teams for delivery
   Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops
3. Healthcare Domain Expertise
   Understand healthcare workflows and compliance standards (HIPAA HL7 FHIR)
   Design for interoperability and regulatory alignment
   Prioritize features that improve clinical and operational outcomes
4. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
   Communicate product vision and roadmap across teams
   Manage expectations and feedback from internal and external stakeholders
   Facilitate alignment between product engineering and clinical teams
5. Data-Driven Decision Making
   Conduct market and user research to inform product decisions
   Use analytics tools to measure feature impact and guide prioritization
   Apply insights to optimize product performance and user experience

Other Knowledge Skills Abilities or Certifications:

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification
Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision making
Experience with user-centered design and design thinking
Understanding of HL7 FHIR and other healthcare interoperability standards

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or related field

7 years of experience in product management or ownership
Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment
Experience in healthcare SaaS is highly preferred
