About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage our invoice processing team within the Accounts Payable (AP) division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing teams processing invoices and experience with ERP systems specifically NetSuite and COUPA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in accounts payable with at least 2 years of team handling experience. The role will also require experience in managing AP processes for mergers and acquisitions.


What Youll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of invoice processing associates to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.

  • Oversee daily AP operations including invoice processing data entry and payment processing.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity including leveraging AI and automation technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance procurement and accounting.

What Youll Need:

  • 10-12 years of experience in accounts payable with a focus on invoice processing and team management.

  • At least 2 years of team handling experience.

  • Experience in managing AP processes for mergers and acquisitions.

  • Proficient in ERP systems specifically NetSuite and COUPA.

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes procedures and best practices.

  • Experience with AI and automation technologies including:

  • Familiarity with AI-powered AP solutions and their applications.

  • Experience in transforming AP processes using AI and automation.

  • Understanding of data analytics and process optimization.

  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with other ERP systems or AP automation tools.

  • Certification in accounts payable or a related field (e.g. APM CPP).

  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.

Shift Timing : 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST

Work Location : Kharadi Pune (Work from Office)
