Role Summary:

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration configuration monitoring security and operational stability of the D365 F&O platform. This role ensures system reliability data integrity user enablement and integration performance across business functions including Finance Supply Chain HR and Reporting. The Administrator acts as the bridge between business stakeholders IT infrastructure and application development teams to ensure optimal system performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration & Operations

  • Manage D365 F&O environments (Dev Test UAT Production)
  • Perform environment monitoring performance tuning and system health checks
  • Manage lifecycle services (LCS) deployments and updates
  • Coordinate patching hotfixes and version upgrades
  • Maintain system documentation and operational procedures

Security & Access Control

  • Manage user provisioning roles duties and privileges
  • Enforce segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance policies
  • Implement security governance and audit controls
  • Monitor access logs and security incidents

Configuration & Functional Support

  • Configure system parameters across Finance and SCM modules
  • Support chart of accounts fiscal calendars workflows and posting profiles
  • Manage master data governance and data quality controls
  • Support multi-entity multi-currency and multi-legal entity structures

Integration & Middleware Support

  • Support integration with third-party systems (e.g. Concur CRM WMS Payroll Banks)
  • Monitor integration pipelines and data flows
  • Work with middleware platforms (Workato APIs)
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and data sync issues

Data Management & Reporting

  • Support data imports/exports (DMF Data entities APIs)
  • Manage data refreshes and refresh strategies
  • Support Power BI reporting and analytics integration
  • Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across systems

User Support & Enablement

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for F&O users
  • Manage incidents problems and change requests
  • Develop training materials and user documentation
  • Support user onboarding and adoption programs

Governance & Compliance

  • Support audit requirements and controls
  • Maintain change management and release governance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Knowledge of data entities DMF OData and APIs
  • Integration experience with middleware platforms
  • SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI Power Automate Dataverse)

Functional Knowledge:

  • Finance (GL AP AR FA Budgeting)
  • Supply Chain (Procurement Inventory Sales Warehousing)
  • Multi-entity and intercompany accounting
  • Tax configuration and regulatory reporting
  • Financial controls and audit frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (MB-310 MB-330)
  • Experience with GP F&O migration projects
  • Cloud ERP administration experience
  • Experience in regulated industries (Finance Healthcare Public Sector)

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$135000.00 - CAD$165000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change.
