Position Summary:

Update and compile a list of potential guest speakers out of local business professionals and executives

Liaise with guest speakers to invite them and consult on their availability

In consultation with the instructor and the Program Coordinator schedule available guests for speaking engagements

Update and compile a list of potential organizations for site visits

Liaise with local organizations for site visits and organize the visits with them

Coordinate with students for directions to site instructions for the visit and schedule

In consultation with the instructor and the Program Coordinator schedule available guest speaking engagement

Communicate the scheduled events to students and answer questions

Serve as a point of contact for students and organizations addressing questions or concerns regarding speakers and site visits

Maintain accurate records contacts and provide brief progress updates to the Program Coordinator of and course instructor

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
