Were partnering with a large well-established enterprise to find a seasoned Employee Relations & Workplace Investigations Specialist. Our client is a respected name in their industry a multi-state global operation known for holding themselves to a high standard when it comes to workplace integrity and culture.
This is a specialist role for someone who lives and breathes investigations. Youll own the process end-to-end act as a trusted advisor to HR and leadership and play a key part in building a workplace where fairness and accountability arent just values on a wall.
The role
- Lead and manage workplace investigations into allegations of policy violations misconduct harassment and discrimination from initial intake through to documented findings and recommended actions.
- Ensure all investigations meet legal standards across federal state and local requirements; assess legal liability and escalate high-risk matters appropriately.
- Prepare thorough objective investigation reports and present outcomes to HR leadership and legal counsel as needed.
- Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on investigation processes workplace conduct and compliance.
- Analyse investigation trends to surface systemic issues and recommend policy updates and preventive measures.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and management on sensitive employee relations matters helping maintain a respectful and compliant workplace culture.
What were looking for
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field; AWI or SHRM certification required.
- 7 years of experience in employee relations or workplace investigations within a multi-state organization global experience is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of employment law at the federal state and local level.
- Exceptional interviewing analytical and report-writing skills you produce clear defensible documentation under pressure.
- Proficiency in HR systems with Workday HRMS experience preferred alongside Microsoft Office Suite.
- Unimpeachable discretion ethical judgment and the ability to remain impartial in complex emotionally charged situations.
- A natural collaborator who works effectively across HR Legal and senior leadership.
