Job Summary
What you will do:
Provide In-country (Thailand) support for IR business mainly for F&B & YPS system and products selection with costing and preliminary quotation preparation. This is to assist our IR Thaiand sales manager for technical support so that he can focus on customer relationship management and pipeline creation. The AE shall understand the customer refrigeration process and how we might value add through systems and products application know-how.
- Technical support in terms of product selection (IR Products HVAC Chillers Heat Pump & Absorption Chiller)
- IR system energy efficiency analysis where applicable
- IR component optimization where applicable (Chiller skid for Oil and Gas industry where applicable)
- Technical presentation to customer / contractor when required
- Attend Seminar with Sales Manager when required
- To support other SEA country IR business when required
How you will do it:
- Provide IR solution and quotation support to front-line sales engineers and sales managers.
- Support sales activities and pre-engineering tasks including equipment layout for IR systems and equipment.
- Prepare schematics and P&ID drawings on behalf of front-line sales teams.
- Support RFQs by:
- Optimizing technical selections
- Participating in tender clarifications
- Liaising with vendors
- Supporting cost and quotation preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager from time to time.
What we look for
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 510 years of relevant working experience preferably in industrial or commercial refrigeration.
- Experience in IR system design and plant optimization or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
- Knowledge of Chinese language is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures and organizational divisions.
- Proficiency in industry software for plant modeling and engineering (e.g. AutoCAD Danfoss Coolselector/Coolware).
