Job Summary
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner who thrives on complex case management and employee relations and enjoys partnering with stakeholders on challenging highimpact people matters.
This full-time role partners with leaders across the organisation to deliver practical high-quality HR advice with a strong focus on complex ER cases performance conduct and health-related matters.
What you will do
- Lead complex case management across performance conduct grievances and health-related matters
- Provide expert employee relations advice including Fair Work matters
- Coach and influence leaders to confidently manage people issues
- Partner with stakeholders to drive accountability and practical outcomes
- Support change initiatives in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Use HR insights and data to improve decision-making and outcomes
- Contribute to projects and be involved in a range of activities including recruitment and providing generalist advice across the range of people matters
What you bring
- Significant experience in employee relations and complex case management (this is your strength and passion)
- Proven HR business partnering experience in busy dynamic high-change environments
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation enterprise agreements and Fair Work
- Ability to manage sensitive high-risk matters with sound judgement and composure
- Excellent influencing skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
- A pragmatic solutions-focused approach with strong stakeholder credibility
