Where will your next venture in Water Treatment take you

This role will provide a specialist engineering and scientific consultancy service to support conventional water treatment regional operations throughout the Water Corporation.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a motivated employee with a strong analytical chemistry background to join the Water Treatment Regional team.

This position is based in Osborne Park.

What the role entails:

  • Undertake treatment process and chemistry investigations and provide advice across the business for
  • Undertake remote and site-based support for conventional water treatment plants.
  • Provide support in the planning and execution of process commissioning activities for new upgrade modified or incident deployed water treatment assets.
  • Review of conventional water treatment plant performance
  • Contribute to the implementation of water treatment research and development initiatives.

Key skills and experience:

  • A tertiary qualification (Degree level or higher) in relevant scientific or engineering field.
  • Knowledge of Water Treatment processes and technologies.
  • Technical and scientific report writing skills and preparation of standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrated computing skills and knowledge of the use of Water Quality data bases (e.g. WQMS ODSS etc) and the Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.
