Job Description:

• Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing and distribution of materials parts supplies and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintain records of received goods rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
• Holds ability to handle items (up to 35 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks height adjustable carts forklift etc.) upon receipt of internal certification.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse and/or production stockroom environment
• Ability to obtain secret clearance
  

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with MS Office applications specifically Excel Outlook and Word
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
• Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools
• Organizational skill
• Willing to driver non CDL straight truck around campus - CDL experience a plus
• HazMat certification a plus
