Job Summary
Seasonal part-time Grounds Assistant needed to support the upkeep of property grounds helping maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for visitors. This role assists with landscaping general maintenance and event setup while working alongside staff and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with lawn care including mowing raking watering and basic treatments
- Help maintain flower beds (weeding planting pruning watering)
- Support upkeep of walkways and roads (graveling leveling)
- Maintain cleanliness and stocking of public restrooms
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events (tables chairs tents etc.)
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report repair needs
- Help with trash removal and general grounds cleanliness
- Maintain outdoor furniture picnic areas porches and workspaces
- Work with staff and volunteers on grounds projects
- Report maintenance issues or concerns to supervisor
- All other job duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired:
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn basic landscaping and maintenance tasks
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Drug screen required upon offer of employment
Joby Type:Mid May October/November Part-time 3 days/week with a rotating Saturday shift
