Grounds Assistant

Seasonal part-time Grounds Assistant needed to support the upkeep of property grounds helping maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for visitors. This role assists with landscaping general maintenance and event setup while working alongside staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with lawn care including mowing raking watering and basic treatments
• Help maintain flower beds (weeding planting pruning watering)
• Support upkeep of walkways and roads (graveling leveling)
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of public restrooms
• Assist with setup and breakdown for events (tables chairs tents etc.)
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and report repair needs
• Help with trash removal and general grounds cleanliness
• Maintain outdoor furniture picnic areas porches and workspaces
• Work with staff and volunteers on grounds projects
• Report maintenance issues or concerns to supervisor
• All other job duties as assigned

QualificationsRequired:

• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Dependable with strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn basic landscaping and maintenance tasks
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Drug screen required upon offer of employment

Joby Type:Mid May October/November Part-time 3 days/week with a rotating Saturday shift
