Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and following established government location policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and authorization and document visitor contractor and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Support a structured environment by communicating clearly with employees residents and the public enforcing post orders professionally and completing required logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• Applicants must meet COLA DPSS/DHS requirements for tuberculosis testing and MMR vaccinations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
