Pay Rate/Range: $12.50/hr Description: Responsible for performing seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing trimming and landscaping of city parks public buildings and rights-of-way. Operates mowers trimmers and other lawn care equipment safely and efficiently. Assists with routine maintenance of equipment and ensures work areas are clean and free of debris. Works under the supervision of the Public Works or Parks Department and follows all safety and city regulations. Job Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record preferred. Ability to operate lawn mowers weed trimmers and other landscaping equipment safely. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods. Basic knowledge of lawn care and landscaping practices is helpful but not required. Must be dependable punctual and able to follow instructions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must comply with all city safety policies and procedures.
