Part-Time Seasonal Golf Course Aide- Greens Mower
The Boone County Conservation Board is seeking candidates to fill 1 part-time seasonal Golf Course Aide positions. The selected individual will assist in a variety of tasks associated with the management of Don Williams Golf Course managed by the Boone County Conservation Board. This position will require some weekend night and holiday hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 17 years of age and possess a valid drivers license. Background check and physical may be required. The ability to routinely lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions. Ability to operate and assist with the maintenance of various outdoor equipment.
DESCRIPTION: Seasonal position under general supervision of the Director and direct supervision of the Golf Course Manager. Performs mowing weed eating cleaning of facilities facility and park maintenance public relations interaction with visitors and other jobs as assigned. The main job will be to mow greens on the golf course at an early hour. Preferred experience in operation of equipment such as mowers trimmers skid loaders tractors chain saws and hand tools. Willing to work a nonstandard work week with some night weekend and holiday work as required. This is a seasonal position running from approximately March to October and will not exceed 12 hours per week (Monday- Saturday).
WAGE: $15/hr. 12 hours per week.
