Hoag Health the top-ranked health system in Orange County is seeking an experienced and dedicated OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join our growing program as a per diem provider! The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey including prenatal labor delivery and postpartum care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Details
- Schedule: Per diem. 6-8 hour shifts on weekends
- Location: Hoag Hospital Newport Beach CA
- Duties: Inpatient based role inclusive of: Rounding on post-partum patients post-operative patients supporting with discharging planning follow up care escalating acute clinical matters to our Ob/GYN Physicians.
- Staff: Seasoned and tenured support staff including Ob Laborists and RNs
- EMR: Epic

Requirements
- California Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Hoag Hospital(s)
- Experience or knowledge in management of post-partum and post-operative patients required
- Inpatient experience required
- Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with an emphasis on empathy and support.
