Job Summary
Bon Secours St. Ritas is looking for locum coverage in Hematology Oncology.
JOB DETAILS:
Dates of coverage: 9/1/26-1/18/27
Practice Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center
Reason for Coverage: Maternity leave coverage for the existing provider.
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult and Geriatric patients.
What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology % Oncology % Internal Medicine % 60% Hematology 40% Oncology
Number of Physicians in Practice: 1
How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1
Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT: 13
Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 2
Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting Oncology - Outpatient Setting
Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level II Trauma Center
Availability requirements: Monday Wednesday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Outpatient clinic coverage). No on-call or weekend availability required.
Required Duties: Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care including patient evaluations ordering and interpreting labs and imaging prescribing treatments and participating in tumor board discussions.
Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
**Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 120 Days
Facility reimbursement for the following costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate
Requirement description :
- Board Certified Hematology and Oncology or Truly Board Eligible - REQUIRED
- Active OH license - PREFERRED
- BLS - REQUIRED
- Clean background - REQUIRED
- Availability requirements: Availability confirmation for 9/1/26 1/18/27 (Mon Wed 8 AM 5 PM) - REQUIRED
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
