Grade 1 ï½ Great Falls Elementary School

Great Falls Elementary School is seeking a dedicated collaborative and student-centered Grade 1 Teacher to join our school community.

The successful candidate will create a positive engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth social-emotional development and a love of learning for all students. This teacher will work closely with colleagues support staff and families to provide high-quality instruction and meet the diverse needs of first-grade learners.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering high-quality instruction aligned to grade-level standards
Creating a safe inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Supporting students academic social emotional and behavioral growth
Using assessment data to inform instruction and respond to student needs
Collaborating with colleagues specialists and support staff
Maintaining strong communication and partnerships with families
Contributing positively to the overall school community

Qualifications:

Maine Elementary Teaching Certification (or eligibility)
Knowledge of early literacy numeracy and child development
Strong classroom management communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners
