Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and appropriate authorities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or permissions as directed by site policies and support controlled access procedures for restricted areas.
• Support emergency and routine operations by preparing reports maintaining awareness of surroundings and following post orders use of force guidelines and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
